I have known Vijayamma almost from her birth! Both her father Shri. Kishan Nayak and her mother Smt. Lakshmi are more than family. I saw Vijaya in school, college and when she began to work. She grew up before me. I too was a part of her education, career and growth… though the part was too small.
There is an entire team that takes care of the website in which you are reading this write-up, but she is the jewel of the team. She is one of the strong pillars of this website. When she completed the B.Tech Computer Science from M/s Vardhaman College of Engineering and Technology, she was too raw and was weighing options about her future. I realized that with proper training and guidance she could prove herself as an asset both in insurance and in computers. That is what she did. Passed qualifying examinations in Insurance and became an expert computer lady. Her core values are very strong: hard work, dedication to her work and eagerness to learn. Her intellectual and professional powers began to bloom.
Vijaya is very individualistic, strong willed, and a focused lady. Sometimes she gets angry when the work does not go as intended. She used to reach office at 9 am every day to commence the work of the day, eagerly. She is a person who wants to be a lifelong student. She is excellent at painting which has a natural talent. To give definite professional shape, she is currently pursuing various courses in painting.
This Vijaya got married, began a new chapter in her life. She is an embodiment of cleanliness, dresses up immaculately, respectably and always wearing typical office attire. I wish and pray that her married life will be as clean and respectable as she is! Few years ago, I had asked “Vijaya! Do you have anyone in mind? If yes, please let me know. I will discuss with your parents and convince them for marriage” She smiled, replied “Thank you sir for asking. I have no one in my mind. My parents’ choice is my choice. I will marry as per their wishes”. From her answer, I understood that she is special.
At S.V. Reedy Garden & Function Hall on 21 st April 2024 10:37 Am Mr. Balakoti and Viaja Lakshmi became man and wife. Their marriage was witnessed by their Parents, Relatives, Friends, by the community and well-wishers. In her marriage costume Vijaya looked divine. The very subtle, romantic and invisible smile on the lips of Mr. Balakoti vindicated that Vijaya has chosen the right man. All the attendee’s felt that they are made for each other and make a perfect couple.
Having seen her from her childhood, I feel empty and sad that I can no longer see her in her parents’ house regularly. Again, at the same time I feel happy that she has chosen the correct life partner who loves and respects her. But when I think of the vacuum, she has created in the hearts of her parents Pathlavath Lakshmi and Pathalavath Kishan Nayak, I feel that the feeling of emptiness in me is almost nothing. I wish Mr. Sabavath Balakoti and Mrs. Vijaya Lakshmi every good luck, comfort, happiness and peace in their married life. I tell you Vijaya “You are the loveliest couple I have seen. God bless you both”.
