Anyone who holds an expensive camera is not a photographer! With the advent of phone cameras and selfies, the world has lost its sensitivity towards good photography. The infinite and useless photographs, videos and other content on the social media is but a corroborative proof of lost sensitivity. In this scenario, there exists a photographer named Mr. Pushan Vij for who photography is almost life, if not larger than life! Let me tell you, his story.
I do not know if you remember the question Pushan, but you did ask – Why so many specialised photos? Let me answer that question truthfully. I need photos, my own profile, so that I can use them in my website. But this is only half the truth. When my father died, we had to search for a good photograph of his. It was indeed a difficult search. My father was tall, extremely handsome and well educated. All his photos were either taken on a social or professional occasion. They were all good, but they indicated a specific purpose. My father never had a good casual photo done for himself.
I do not want my children to search for a good photograph of mine when I embark on that inevitable eternal journey! I dream to be luckier than my father; I want my children to love me more than I loved my father. Will I be as lucky as my father, time only will tell. Pushan’s laborious work of building a great portfolio might help me in being loved!
To be a good photographer, one has to be better than the finest writer ever existed on this planet earth, for a picture is a thousand words. Pushan! your photography is of ‘another level’ (to borrow a phrase from you!). Your vision, style, composition, use of light etc., are unique and I love it. Such passionate dedicated and sensitive work is seldom seen. Nostalgia rises up in me looking at your past work, and that is such a wonderful thing! It has been a joy to spend a week with you and your photo sessions. Your approach to work reflects freedom and timelessness and poignancy with pitch-perfect beauty. I often wonder why you are neglecting your first love! You have the capacity to create an astonishing body of work.
I found your imagination with its beauty that seem to ask as many questions as they answer. Like most powerful works of art, your work dedication is memorable, haunting, and resonate with ambiguity. You really have this special thing to capture the soul in an instant and some of your pictures make me emotional. You have earned in me a follower for life with your work and it is very satisfying to discover you as the photographer Pushan.
You have a very classic, subtle, restrained focus on curve and line in the moment. Your work is existentially abstract and is consistent in its conception and perception. Your words and sentiments are just as lovely as your photographs. As a traveller myself, I feel like your works truly capture much of the “feel” of your destinations.
Pushan Vij is a French educated Indian, who can speak, write and dream French better than the French! He has a huge sense of French graciousness, delicacy, wittiness, and light. Let me tell you something about French art. French art has its roots in a thousand-year-old tradition, where creativity and innovation have always been celebrated. From the timeless masterpieces of the Renaissance to the avant-garde movements of the 20th century, France has been the scene of many artistic revolutions that have shaped the face of modern French art, and in the process creating master crafts men like Pushan Vij.

Sir, In my view, the apt heading would be a photographer who captures souls. 6 years ago as a proud member of BNI, I gave my testimonial to Mr. Pushan Vij for his photographic services.
