It was the world of Khus-Khus Tattis, the shade of a neem tree and sleeping open air and the mosquito nets. Lying inside the mosquito net, I used to count the stars before falling asleep. I was 100% sure that I had counted all the stars accurately. I wrote the number of stars in my mathematics ‘class work’ note book! But one thing which is 100 % accurate is that no mosquito ever bitten me while I was inside the net. The sleep used to be deep and dreamless.
Thus, the mosquito net offered greatest protection from the mosquitos. I was told by the teacher that If I sleep in the mosquito net, no malaria or no elephantiasis is will ever touch and I will remain forever healthy! Further it also offered me a cover… some sort of psychological security. If I were to sleep in the mosquito net, I believed that no thief can attack as I was inside! Crazy it may sound, but those were the days of youth and weird thoughts.
That security belief became a part of my personality. But sadly, few sleep in the mosquito nets these days. I believe majority thinks mosquito nets belong to a remote under developed civilization! I continued the habit of sleeping in the open area and mosquito net till date.
People of today are modern people. They belong to Gen Z. And these people use mosquito repellants like ‘Good Knight’, ‘Sleep Well’, All Out, Hit etc. We can find many interesting advertisements on the TV & Internet informing the enormous benefits offered by these mosquito repellents. When these repellents are switched on, all mosquitos are either killed or will run away, allowing us to sleep peacefully! We also have Mosquito coils, Mosquito ointments like Odomos, Mosquito Agarbatti and many more products. No mosquito repellant works when the electricity is down! All the above are expensive.
I am a firm believer in mosquito nets; they alone offer affordable and lasting protection. I need something that would stay with me life-long. For the protection of your own life what steps have you taken? A life insurance policy offers affordable, lasting and lifelong protection.
Think – Can we sleep a night without a mosquito net? Or for that matter, can we sleep a night without the expensive and uncertain mosquito repellants? Can we afford to live life without the life insurance protection? Are we not risking everything in life by not opting for a life insurance policy? We can sleep peacefully and without disturbance if we use a mosquito net; we can even count the stars and even determine their exact number! Similarly, we can live life full and well if we have life insurance for life insurance alone, like the mosquito net, offers complete life long and affordable protection.
