Nothing Succeeds like Success or Nothing Fails like Failure

Nothing Succeeds like Success

Everybody wants to be successful. The biggest menace and the worst drug (more dangerous than Marijuana and Cocaine etc.) is the intoxication of success. All people pray the god for success. There are 1.40 billion populations in India. There is but one God. All the people pray the same God for Success. For example: All +2 students want to come first / top in the examinations. Let us say if 20 lakh people are stiffing for the +2 examination and if everybody wants to come first, who will the God help? Don’t you think He would be confused?

Similarly all people pray, in the FIFA, that their country should win! A Protestant nation prays the Jesus; a Catholic nation also prays for their country’s victory. Who will Jesus help? Protestants or the Catholics? Jesus is confused. He was the man who talked about one God & one humanity. Don’t you think He will simply turn his head? Don’t you think He will reproach Himself for not sharing the word of God well with humanity?

People want their success. They forget that in the creation of God no one is a loser / unsuccessful. It is disgusting to note that the man has forgotten this essential fact. People have forgotten that God is a Communist, not a Capitalist. He gave the same air, sunshine, hunger, sleep and thirst to all. They are equal to all. No one can take a little more or a little less of them. For example: If you have more bread than your hunger, what happens? Or if you have more water than your thirst, what will happen? Let me tell unto you… you will die. You will perish. So is with everything, including success.

People say and quote very often:

“Nothing succeeds like success.” I believe this is not correct. The statement must be, and correctly so, “Nothing succeeds like Failure”. Yes. The more we fail, the more we know of success.

And similarly, the opposite is also true: “Nothing Fails likes Success”. How true statement is! Every successful man has finally failed, he had no other way. The higher you go with success, the heavier and faster is the fall! In a way success is the stepping stone for failure!

What should our prayer to God then? Shall we pray for the success? Everyone worships the Goddess Laxmi. Everyone reverently prays that She should only visit their house alone; this is not all… they also pray that She should never leave their house! She won’t visit anyone when everybody wants her in their house! Imagine when all people tie their own ropes to a golden chair, pull it in their respective direction (golden chair is tied from all 360 degrees) then the chair will be a no-one’s chair. It does not move in any direction at all, because all are pulling it at the same time! Thus, both goddess Laxmi and the success elude us all!

What should be our prayer then? Is it that “Nothing Succeeds like Success” hence, pray for it? Or “Nothing Succeeds like Failure” hence avoid failure? Or “Nothing Fails like Success” hence avoid success? Or “Nothing Fails like Failure” hence seek it?

As for me, I shall not seek success, and for that success pester the gods. Both the Goddesses i.e., Saraswathi & Laxmi are so confused that they have permanently stopped listening to us. For me I shall seek “Nothing”, for in it alone is present “Everything”.
