In my extensive readings, I came across many wonderful sentences, many of them I do remember. For few, I can even remember their author; but for majority I am confused about the name of the author. I do acknowledge the work and rights of those authors, thank them for letting me use their work.
Few sentences, when you look from a different perspective, are no more simple sentences, but are complete stories written in just one sentence. Let me tell you those one-line stories – I must say they are life changing! Please read them slowly and carefully.
- Man, and God met somewhere: both exclaimed ‘My creator’!
- What if, after my death, God asks: ‘So, how was heaven?’
- The fool did not know it was impossible, so he did it.
- ‘Wrong number’, said a familiar voice.
- My wedding cost US$ 8800. My divorce cost US$ 21,300. Both were worth it.
- More often than not, I wish that I were dead. But I get scared thinking “What if you are not waiting on the other side”?
- She typed ‘Why don’t you trust me?’, sent to both of the guys.
Are you wondering why do I read extensively? Well, that is the only activity which keeps me alive, creative and lively. I have not found any other activity as engrossing as this.
