[The following is the dialogue between the poet Kalidas and a Woman. Source of this master piece is unknown. However, it is my honor to include this piece here. The publication of this article does not diminish the rights of its original author. Please Read.]
Kalidas: “Mother give me water, it will be great virtue”!
Woman: “Son, I don’t know you. Give your introduction. I will definitely give you water”.
Kalidas: “I am a pathik (Hindi: राही, बटोही।), please give me water”.
Woman: “How can you be a pathik”? Pathik are only two sun and moon, who never stop! Always on the go. Which one are you? Tell the truth.
Kalidas: I am a guest, please give me water.
Woman: – “How can you be a guest”? There are only two guests in the world. First money and second youth! They don’t take long to leave. Tell the truth, who are you?
(Till now, all the logic defeated, had already been frustrated)
Kalidas: I am tolerant. Now you give me water.
Woman: “No, there are only two tolerant. First, the earth which bears the burden of all the sinners and good souls”! Tearing her chest and sowing seeds also gives stores of grains, other trees at which you throw stones but still give sweet fruits. You are not tolerant. Tell the truth who are you?
(Kalidas almost came into a foolish state and spoke with argument)
Kalidas: I am stubborn.
Woman: “True again. There are only two stubborn – first nail and second hair, no matter how much you cut, they come out again and again. Tell the truth who are you”?
(Were completely humiliated and defeated)
Kalidas: Then I am a fool.
Woman: “No how can you be fooled. There are only two fools. The first king who rules everything without qualification, and the second Darbari Pandit who tries to prove him right by arguing on wrong thing to please the king”!
(In case he could not say anything, Kalidas fell on the feet of the old woman and started humbling in the plea of water)
Woman: Get up Vats! (Hindi: बच्चा, शिशु।)
(When Kalidas looked up after hearing the voice, Mata Saraswati was standing there, Kalidas bowed down again)
Mother: “Education brings knowledge not ego. You considered the respect and reputation you gained on the power of education as your achievement and you were arrogant so I had to do this to open your eyes”!!
Kalidas realized his mistake and after drinking water he moved forward.
