THE INDIGO AIRLINES CRISIS

Over the past week almost all Indigo airline flights were cancelled. And this issue is still going on and very much current. Millions are affected. Literally, the air travel in India has come to a standstill. People are stranded at unknown places. I am not simply adding yet another page on Indigo on the internet.

Here, I am more interested in the real reason for this crisis. As the propaganda statement of the government states: The Indigo airlines are unable to comply with the new work regulations of the DGCA. Do you believe this crap? Consider this: Recruiting say, 2000 additional staff (including pilots) is far cheaper than eroding share value, negative perception in minds of people leading to permanent loss of trust and business, and loss of good revenue etc. These are expensive. Any layman can see this.

By stating that the airline company is trying to blackmail the government, the government is washing away its responsibility. Till date the government has done a great washer man’s job with regards to this crisis. Further, why would anybody axe the branch on which he is comfortably sitting? Even an idiot would not do this, less said about Indigo airlines. I know Indigo cannot state this openly, but there could be a far more important reasons than what is being fed by the propagandists.

The reason could be anything, including the possibility of Indigo being known as Adani airlines.
