Wright brothers, Henry Ford, Madam Curie etc.… are considered as the greatest people ever to walk on this planet. With their inventions they have changed the face of earth forever! No one can disagree with this statement. They changed the earth’s face in such an ugly manner that it is ashamed of showing its face!
Let us take Henry Ford. Prior to him the entire travel / transportation was done by the animals alone. Bullock / Horse carts on the streets were aplenty! Similarly, we also had many other animals and birds that helped in transportation. A walk in the street prior to Ford was soul satisfying. There were so many animals on the roads and no one talked of their rights. It was understood. We all co-existed.
As animals were plenty, zoo was unheard of. There were animal fairs in every village / town. Horses, goats, camels, cows, buffalos, elephants…were sold & bought there. That society did not need a zoo. Today we take of animal rights, because we know we cannot let them live. We only propagate our own species… Nothing else.
From 1900 onward – the descendants of Henry Ford’s have taken over the streets. These cars, buses etc successfully banned animal entry not only in cities but also in the villages. Vehicle entry changed our lives and the face of the planet earth forever for bad!
We have to deal with many new diseases and also thugs like obesity!
Many argue that it is because of Henry Ford’s vehicles, we are able to transport food for the starved; medicines for the sick etc. This view is a foolish argument without any substance. It sounds good… in reality it is bad camouflaged as good. Because of these vehicles, there is pollution. Summer is no more a summer! Along with animals, their food is also becoming extinct… no greenery… more pollution. The question, therefore is: Should we save the sick & hungry or human race & the planet? Buddha cannot work here! His middle path cannot save the sick & the planet. Choice is inevitable. Pray tell do you still think Henry Ford’s vehicles are good? Your answer decides our future.
Let us look at this issue from religious perspective. Every Hindu God adopted one animal / bird. They knew that the welfare of the planet lies in animals. They did not have the Ravan’s airplane… Pushpak. I think only the bad / the demons had machines. Vishnu = Garuda. Shiv = Nandi; Ganesh = Rat; Durga = Lion etc. Similarly Jesus had donkeys & goats; Mohammad had donkeys, goats, camels etc.
Now, let us look at ourselves. We are outwardly religious. We pretend to be good. The truth is that our race is a sadistic, selfish and egocentric race. A drop of milk in a pot of poison cannot make poison in to milk! Similarly a Jesus cannot make our entire race benevolent. Nor one Mohammed, nor the Buddha.
We are attracted to lead our lives like Ravan and his machines. Hence, we love the descendants of Henry Ford & Wright brothers. We regard their work as science. In that process, we ignored animals, planets, gods and ourselves. And we know well that there is no return journey in the path we elected!
