There is a day called Constitution bullshit day and is celebrated on 26th November. 90% of population does not know what Constitution is. Too much importance is being given to it by the remaining 10%. Constitution has become a separate religion in itself. There are people who talk a lot of its sacredness, foresight, being futuristic etc. They are the new age Brahmans of the expired document.
Constitution without any relation to the changed world is like expired medicine. The way expired medicine is injurious & often life-threating, so is expired Constitution. It helps breeding many incurable diseases like wrong political parties and leaders. It gives raise to petty politicians with foul and irresponsible attitude. An expired Constitution is the root cause of all miseries of people including unemployment, illiteracy, religious fundamentalism and much more.
For the ills of India, there is only one solution – Change the Constitution. When we cut the root of the tree, the entire tree is destroyed. Similarly, every ill of India is destroyed if the Constitution is changed. All the existing unsolvable ills will ‘wither away’! The society & the nation will be a better place.
The people of India as at 26th Nov, 1947 are totally different from the people of India today. Their vision & mission were totally different from ours. The Constitution of 1947 had different aims. Those aims are irrelevant today. Let us not fool ourselves by attributing vague and illogical and non-existent meanings to the Constitution of 1947.
What we need is a new Constitution. Buddha and Vardhaman rebelled against Hinduism. We accepted. New religions bloomed. Jesus rebelled against Judaism. We welcomed and Christianity flowered. Thus, one can give infinite examples in support of positive change. Most importantly many countries have changed their own Constitutions to suit the aspirations of their people. They are the people of today. What India needs is a new Constitution. Kindly note that it does not take 2 years 11 months and 22 days to draft a new Constitution. It takes much less time and a smaller number of people.
Hence, we the people of present India have resolved on 26th day of November 2024 to “adopt, enact and give to ourselves this new Constitution”. In this new Constitution alone lies the salvation of every accidental Indian.
