THE UNIVERSAL LAWS OF MORTALITY

Gravestones with red flowers in a peaceful cemetery.

We see it every day. But we do not understand. Our show of sorrow, curtesy, grief and sorry are meaningless. In that world with no sound, all their pitiable cries go unheard. The so-called reality of life totally becomes absurd.

Time ceases to exist. The counting of time is considered a sin. Money becomes meaningless. And the money one has earned, not worth a lone dime. Our pampered bodies remain still both in darkness and in light. The sunset alone shines bright. Here these people, nay! we all, lie through the endless night.

Hello Sirs! Hello Madams! Do not be afraid, for it will happen to you, sooner or later. It can never be later; it can only be sooner. Here the matter does not matter. East, West, North & South converges.

All will stop as the body turns blue and hence, the necessity of the UNIVERSAL LAWS OF MORTALITY:

  1. All think, all mortal, but themselves.
  2. Immortality is an engaging illusion, a psychological imbalance.
  3. Mortality is immortal
  4. Immortality is mortal.

Comparison can be drawn with the ‘Universal Laws of Gravity’ of Sir Issac Newton. This comparison can only be peripheral. Whereas the Laws of Gravity are applicable only on the planet earth and are not applicable say in space, for example on the ISS. Gravity does not exist there.

On the other hand, the Universal Laws of Mortality are truly universal. They are applicable to all – human beings, plants, animals and even to more intelligent spices that we assume may exist in some unknown planets.

These Universal Laws of Mortality thus are all encompassing. No one is above the Universal Laws of Mortality. This universality of these laws is even applicable to God. Or else how philosopher Fredrick Nietzsche would have uttered his most famous statement of God?

I shall explain each Universal Law of Mortality in a separate article.
