I know of names till 2054 or till the end of Gen Gama / Gen G. Every generation has a span of 15 years and has a unique character through which it can be identified. I shall explain each generation in Indian context.

Baby Boomer generation in India is the generation of Independent India and patriotism. They people of this generation could think nothing more than India & sacrifice. Agriculture, education, self-sufficiency etc. are generally discussed during these times.
Generation X or Gen X were born just after Indo-China war, tasted defeat; waged India Pakistan war; created Bangladesh and seen emergency. This generation saw the B & W TV, HMT watches, Ambassador and Premier Padmini cars in India. The waiting period for the delivery of Bajaj Chetak or any two-wheeler used to be well over 3 years!
Millennial or Gen Y: are those who hosted the commonwealth games; seen the arrival of Maruthi Suzuki 800 in Indian market. They prided with these developments! These people saw STD & ISD booths and the birth of mobile phones in India. Computers have just entered India and anyone who knows Microsoft and its working was considered a computer genius. Saw the era of color TVs and .com boom!
Generation Z or Gen Z. seen India slowly opening up for foreign in investment and the era of smart phones. Many airlines entered Indian aviation market. Development of call centers and much more.
Generation Alpha or Generation Covid seen the revival of Hindu madness. Cow became mother once again! Ram Mandir was built. Smart phones, tablets, Internet became household. Seen the birth and unprecedented growth of social media.
However, all the above is just a miniscule part of a long sad story. Over 75% of Indians do not even know what these generations mean! For them generation means 10 years and not 15 years! One common factor that remained constant across all these generations is poverty & illiteracy. The aim of every successive government was eradication of poverty and making India into Singapore! All failed, but none admits. Very sad state of affairs.
Generation Beta just began. I do not know what is in store for them, but one thing that can be observed is this generation became Artificial Intelligence (AI) crazy. I doubt if this generation will ever know the distinction between reality & AI.
