If there is one thing, I have in plenty in an inexhaustible way, is TIME. I have no property; no food; no knowledge; no commitments. I want all these, but they cunningly elude me. And there is money – it sticks to me as thickly as a rain drop sticks to a rain coat! Thus all I have or left with is time!
The God has been very cruel to me. He exists to see that I am left with ample time. Whereas all others lament of their lost childhood, youth, money, girlfriends, boyfriends, old age etc., and I have not lost any! I have my childhood; youth etc. intact. For all others the God seemed to have given a maximum life span of 100 years. In so far as I am concerned the God seemed to have put infinite zeros after 1. Hence, I have unending fountain of a childhood and youth. To put it differently, I have too much of time. What do I do with this time? Here I am clueless.
All people of the past, present and the future have complained about the insufficiency of time and will continue to complain in future too. They say they have either no time or running short of time. They wish that a day should have at least 48 hours! These are the very people who have no time to eat, sleep, pray and to do any other thing. Even to romance with their beloved they will have to think of time. These people have money, property, job and everything a luxurious life can ever offer, but have no time. They are time poor! They perpetually and bitterly complain about the lack of time! I heard my friends complaining: Look! I did not get time to have the medicine; or I could not get a minute to grab a bite; or I did not get time to kiss my spouse! I envy them because they have medicine, food and a spouse! I feel frustrated because I have none! I feel dejected looking at the infinite time I have.
I like king Puru of Mahabharata. I am sure none of you are in a position to place him! Allow me to recall this great man for you. King Yayati was cursed with old age. However, he was given a concession of being able to transfer his curse of prematurely becoming old to others. His last son Puru who had ample time at his disposal, transfers his youth to his father Yayati in exchange for the rich kingdom. In other words, it is established that time can be transferred for gain or profit! I am not going to discuss the entire story here. I am contented with the fact that time can be transferred profitably to others! As the only thing I have in abundance is the time, I have decided to sell my time to all those who are in short of it for consideration. Are you not thinking “What bullshit this man is saying”. No sir, it is not bullshit. I am stating the truth. I am ready to sell my time. Time for Sale! I can either give you a sworn affidavit or get the time sale deed registered. Either way you want. You choose!
People wear wrist watches; they see time on their computer; on the wall clock; in their mobile phone, on the dash board of their car… almost everywhere yet they continuously complain of the insufficiency of time. They want more time, and I do have more time at my disposal. I want to help these ever-complaining people. I want to whole heartedly serve them and make their lives better. Fill their less time life with more time. Hence I have decided to put this advertisement – Time for Sale. If any reader wants time, he can buy from me. Needless to say we have to agree on the price & terms & condition.
My time is getting accumulated. The accumulation of time is so huge that it is in fact overflowing from the safe. What do I do with so much time? I romance slowly as I have more time. Eat slowly. Sleep. Stand in long queues. Wait for buses. Wait for my lover to come. Yet I am left with so much time, infinite time. I wanted to kill time but I am unable to kill it either. Hence, I hit upon this brilliant idea of selling time. Please contact me in confidence to buy time. Your details will be kept confidential.
