The LOC Myth

An Unheard & Uniquely True Commentary

See the newspapers and social media – last few days – everyone is talking about the death of 20 Indian soldiers!!! Their talk is so fanatic and possessed – the sky has already fallen!!! The facts are that on the LOC near the border, there was some unrest between the Indian and Chinese soldiers. They killed each other. These 20 soldiers suddenly became martyrs, the heroes – sacrificing their life for the country!! I have no comment on the deaths of soldiers. Death of anybody is sad whether it be a soldier or a covid-19 patient.

We the Indians became suddenly patriotic! The Government, the media … everyone has single point projection – the Chinese are land-grabbers, usurpers and violators of Indian sovereignty! Consider the following facts: 90% of Indians never stepped out of India; they have never even crossed borders of their own state. So much so, may never left even their own city! I guess they hardly know what they are reacting to or the implications of their reactions.

The people in US, Pakistan, UK, Scotland, UAE…take any country…the aspirations, dreams of those people are same as the Indians – to live peacefully, to have a comfortable home, good job, good food, a bit of entertainment and live happily. This is the general psychology of the people! No people want to fight. Nobody want killings.

If our soldiers were not present (to put it emotionally – not safe guarding the borders) at the LOC, we assume that the Chinese will immediately pounce and occupy the Indian territory! This imagination is given by the politicians and the media. This very imagination goes against the universal human psychology. Everyone is contended with their countries, cities and properties. Neither the Chinese nor the Indians will get a gold medal if they occupy 25 sq.km land in the Himalayas! Then how do we explain the deaths of soldiers? It can only be explained through our criminal politics. Whenever there are elections in India – we have a LOC tiff with Pakistan!!! We are unable to control the covid-19 deaths! Over 13,000 people dead and the clock is ticking! With the China issue the colossal failure of the government in containing COVID 19 forgotten! Everybody’s attention is cleverly diverted to patriotism! This is a sick & dirty political game! This is not patriotism – it is perverted patriotism.

We live in a global age. Generations worked their lives to death to enable us reach this stage. The world is one. Global trade is a common practice. We export our goods and import their goods. Sometimes they export more; sometimes we export less. That is the meaning of global trade. Even here political shit called boycott Chinese goods happens.

It is also reported that 45 Chinese soldiers died. What would be happening to those 45 families and to their families! Their pain, suffering and feelings are the same as ours. Whenever there is an issue between two countries, the armies kill each other! Trust me – it is only because of the politicians they are killing each other. Nothing more.

If you were to weep and show your anguish about anyone, not the 20 Indian or the 45 Chinese soldiers – weep about the politicians. Protest about dirty politics. Chinese products are good products. The world is enjoying them. Every one of us are using – as they are good and cheap. The Chinese people are as good as Indians. If three is villain amidst us, it is the politicians. I don’t have to name anybody as I am sure you can guess those uneducated, overambitious, self-centred political idiots. Let us weep about them and weep about our fate in the hands of such idiots.
