I have many favorite quotes. One such quote is from “The Master and Margarita”: “Never ask for anything! Never and nothing, and especially those who are stronger than you. They will offer and give everything themselves.” The Master and Margarita is a novel written by soviet writer Mikhail Bulgakor. This book was written during Joseph Stalin’s regime.
This is an indisputable truth. None in power and stronger ever gave! These people gave everything to themselves. This is the rule. No country is an exception till date. However, there is one thing which the Indians successfully gave it to themselves i.e. ‘The Constitution’. Hence, never to ask! Throughout the history, we are told to ask. Hence, we kept asking. We asked the God, Mother, Father, Teacher, Wife, Friends… and keep asking. None gave. And we instead of realizing the fact that ‘None gives’, justify their non-giving! I have decided not to ask.

Remember, when I do not ask I become very powerful. God is all merciful and all powerful only when I ask. I ask him, for example, to forgive my sins. When I do not ask, what happens? God becomes powerless and I become powerful. Similarly, a teacher is powerful when I ask him a doubt. A bank is powerful when I ask for loan. Thus, their existence and power are derived through my asking. When I do not ask, they not only become powerless, but also their existence become meaningless.
We are trained so well that a majority of us do not realize that we are asking. A person who decides not to ask must be brave and courageous. He should understand the consequences of not asking. What is the worst thing that can happen if I do not ask? Nothing worse than death can ever happen. By choosing not to asking I become powerful. I become powerful when I am prepared for death. The governments, countries, religion etc. automatically become powerless.
Hence, I decided ‘Never ask for anything’. If I ask, they will offer and give everything themselves’.
